50 random facts + 50 get to know me questions !

The ever wonderful Lauren (check her out!) tagged me to do this tag, and to be honest I haven't had to think this hard since A-level final exams! I halved the random facts (as I literally couldn't think of any) but made up for it with the 50 get to know me questions .

I guess lets just jump right into it ! 

1. I'm the baby of the family 
2. Animal lover ! Like completely obsessed. Im the strange girl that walks up to random cats on the street :L
3. I have a cat called Nylah - this is starting to sound like I'm going to end up being the cat lady when I'm older.
4. But I do prefer dogs 
5. I have two older sisters
6. I am completely OBSESSED with Topshop. The store has never failed me.
7. Shopaholic 
8. Favourite stores: Zara, Topshop, H&M, Warehouse, Mint Velvet, Mango, Berksha and River Island
9. I love the feeling of new crisp clean sheets 
10. Netflix approved binge watcher 
11. Horror movies are a must
12. Interested in documentaries. Literally anything. I'm down from Ann Franks story to how snails mate (watched this in biology and I'm still freaked out). 
13. Perfume hoarder - favourite at the moment: Burberry Brit Rhythm 
14. 2 piercings in each ear - but I want to get more 
15. I'm a live in the moment type of person 
16. I wanna say I'm carefree, funny and laid back 
17. I'm usually up for anything. Call me up at 2am and I would still go on a random McDonalds run

26. *GEEK ALERT* I don't mind science, I actually like it. Especially Chemistry and Biology. However, Physics is a no no.

Time for the 50 get to know me questions! 

1. Are you a morning or night person? Definitely a night owl !
2. Do you prefer sweet or salty foods? I LOVE every type of food. Anything edible I'll be there !
3. Ninjas or Pirates? BOTH. But if i had to choose one it has to be ninjas. They are just so sneaky sneaky 
4. Autobots or Decepticons? Definitely AUTOBOTS 
5. What is your favourite childhood TV programme? Everything Disney - That's so Raven, Lizzie McGuire, Recess. Also CBBC (is that more of an english thing?) - Tracy Beaker was my jam ! 
6. Are you a collector of anything? I just feel like I'm a hoarder. From shoes, perfume, makeup and of course clothes.
7. If you could be an animal, what would you be? hmmm . . . A panda ? 
8. If you could have any superpower, what would it be ?  I would have a mixture of being able to fly, help people and the skill to do things quickly. Basically be an awesome human being.
9. What's your first thought when you wake up? one word. four letters. FOOD 
10. What do you think about right before you fall asleep? what am I having for breakfast tomorrow? do we have enough milk for cereal !? 
11. What's your favourite colour? Purple 
12. Favourite animal ? Anything thats fluffy or cute is my favourite 
13. Do you believe in ghosts?  Im one of those people who says "when i see it i'll believe it". But really i wouldn't know what to do if i actually see one :O
14. Ever been addicted to video/computer games? Definitely!  Anyone remember playing Runescape ?? 
15. Have any bad habits ? Leaving my bed unmade. When I eventually get round to doing it, the prettiness has no use as I would probably be heading to bed like an hour after fixing it. 
16. List 3 best personality traits -  WOW can this sound anymore conceited. Uhm ? Approachable, Carefree, Funny 
17. List 3 worst personality traits - Shy, Lazy, Impulsive 
18. Have any celebrity crushes? - 
19. 1 thing you could change about yourself: I wish I wasn't as shy and closed on first meeting. It makes me look like a total hermit, but really I'm a weird person once you get to know me. 
20. Tattoos Piercings? 4 piercings all together & planning for tattoos 
21. First thing you notice about the opposite sex? Personality - I you are arrogant and anything along those lines GTFO 
22. Personality traits you look for in the opposite text - Humour 
23. Personality traits you dislike in other people - Arrogance, Cockiness (some might be okay but too much is just no), Judgemental and Huge Egos
24. Clean or messy person?  I would say in the middle not overly OCD but not a total slob
25. Do you see yourself getting married in the next 5 years ? Im currently 18 and in 5 yrs time i'll be 23. Still a long time. Anyways would I actually find THE ONE during that time !? Just going with the flow for now.
26. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? LA, New York or England (it's not too bad here).
27. If you could visit anywhere in the world where would you go? The Bahamas ! or Greece :D

29. 1 regret you have -  Not being confident enough to take certain chances
30. 1 thing you miss about being a kid -  The relaxed lifestyle. You don't have to worry about bills, future plans and EXAMS !?

34. Favourite thing to do on a sunday night? Hot chocolate with extra marshmallows + whipped cream or a Nandos and binge watching on Netflix
35. Favourite thing to do on a Saturday night? If not going out with friends usually a movie and food 
36. Naps? Yes I like getting extra sleep time. But I hate the feeling of grogginess or the feeling of where am I? and what time is it? is not my favourite.
37. Any hidden talents? Love art. Drawing is one of the favs 
38. You're about to walk the green mile, what's your last meal? NANDOS - Chicken breast Wrap (Medium) with chips, spicy rice, mash, garlic bread and don't forget the sprite. Other than that pizza and watermelon will do.
39. What would be your dream job? Lets be honest. Not have a job and be rich.
40. Would you rather have 100 million dollars or true love? You see there are pros and cons to both. As a girly answer you know who wouldn't want true love? But 100 million dollars sound pretty good too!
41. Ever wish you could be born the opposite sex?  I mean some dudes clothes are cool but at the same time most girls can rock their clothes without even having to change sex.
42. 1 thing people may not know about you - Sometimes I just put up with people even if i totally despise them. Just keeps the peace you know ? 
43. Would you rather go about your normal day naked or fall asleep for a whole year?  SLEEP ! 
44. Would you rather be gossiped about or never talked about at all? I HATE being the centre of attention.
45. Would you rather be hairy all over or completely bald? Hairy ! No need to spend on winter clothes you'll totally be toasty !
46. Would you rather have fingers for legs or legs for fingers? Fingers for legs ? 
47. Would you rather be sexually attracted to fruit or have Cheeto dust permanently stuck to your fingers? Cheeto dust ! Seems like a bonus to me tbh.
48. Would you rather be able to talk to animals or be fluent in every language? ANIMALS. I want to be just like a Eliza Thornberry.
49. Would you rather have a dragon or be a dragon? HAVE A DRAGON!
50. Would you rather watch your parents have sex for a year or join in once to make it stop? OMG . . . *cringing so hard right now* NO COMMENT.

MINI HAUL

I recently had an impromptu mini shopping spree. I mean when you're in town surrounded by goodies left right and centre you're bound to end up getting something. Or is that just me? 

Some of the things I actually needed but never got round to getting, but some were just impulsive buys because they simply looked interesting or appealing.

Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray - £21.50 - Boots 

I've always walked passed the Bumble and Bumble stand in Boots, as even though I've heard great reviews about this product I couldn't justify myself to spending £21.50 on something for your hair. But after trying different texturising salt sprays (which miserably failed) I gave in to trying this one. Hopefully it's not like others where it weighs your hair down or leaves it feeling sticky. 

Bioré Original Deep Cleansing Pore Strips - £7.99 - Boots

I LOVE these pore strips. I just never got round to rebuying them as of course the price tag of £7.99 for something for your nose, which essentially is just a piece of material that resembles paper that removes dirt from your pores is in my opinion a tad bit pricy. However, compared to cheaper alternatives it's most definitely worth it. 

Sally Hansen Cuticle Eraser and Balm - £7.95 - Boots

Picked this up as my usual Sally Hansen Cuticle Gel remover wasn't in stock ): So I'm going to give this a try, but I'm not really sure about the balm consistency. Hopefully it isn't as bad as some of the reviews say about it. 

SEVENTEEN Falsifeye HD Mascara - £6.99 - Boots 

I've heard good reviews about this mascara so I decided to grab one for myself. But only thing is that they don't have a waterproof formula )): my lashes don't hold curl very well and waterproof really helps, but maybe the benefits of this mascara can outweigh that one disadvantage. Who knows this could become the holy grail mascara as it is only £6.99!? 

Browdrama - £4.99 - Boots 

This was one of those "ooo that looks cool" purchases, bearing in mind I've never actually tried a brow mascara. For only £4.99 it's not a bad impulse buy. 

L'Oréal Paris Super Liner - £6.99 - Boots

This is one of my holy grail products. This eyeliner has never done wrong to me. It gives you the blackest of black lines that has staying power! Felt tip liners are the way to go ! 

Metallic Cream Blush (AORTA) - £7.99 - Topshop 

Topshop blushes have never let me down and this colour is slightly different to their normal cream blushes, it leaves a different sheen and you can totally control the desired appearance. I would definitely give it a swatch if you have a topshop near you (:

Charlotte Tilbury

Charlotte Tilbury's makeup range has recently landed on my "it's not a want, it's a NEED" list. I've been hooked reading her blog and watching her youtube videos, which shows you how to use her products as well as creating amazing looks. Alongside to that many of the makeup gurus have been featuring her products and have been raving about them, which in turn fuels my need to try them! 

As a quick introduction, Tilbury is one of the most sought after makeup artist in the industry. The red head, green eyed beauty has worked with some of the biggest A listers known, from Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne and Jennifer Lopez. You name it she's most probably worked her magic on them. Watching a couple of youtube videos about Charlotte it's not mistaken she radiates this amazing charisma about her love for beauty, which makes me just want to sit down with her and have a good natter about all things beauty.

Only disappointing thing is that I don't have a local counter near me ): Even though you can buy her products online through her own website or selfridges I don't want to risk buying a foundation shade that is either way too light or way too dark. Even the Magic Cream which isn't really priced for student budgets just make me want to spend. I mean who doesn't what luminous, dewy and glowing skin?

 However, I am making it an aim to splurge on her other products as I can see them as being a must have in my makeup collection. SCRATCH THAT. Lets be honest I want the whole range! 

Wayne Goss, another favourite makeup artist of mine is one not afraid of voicing his honest opinion about products. To also add he has this way of delivering makeup reviews and tutorial that just makes me want to binge watch his videos all day. He has reviewed a lot of Charlotte's makeup range and I don't question the quality and performance of these products.  

Hopefully, we do get a local counter soon and I can get my hand on some of the products. But for now online shopping is the way to go!

STYLE CRUSH: Eleanor Calder

Effortless. That's definitely one way of describing Eleanor Calder's style. She's definitely one of the many people whose style that I admire and take notes from. 

Just like you and me she's just another ordinary girl with an amazing sense of style. She is known for dating Louis Tomlinson from One Direction (SCREAMS), but aside from that she's getting more popular and known for her simple yet stunning style choices. What I love the most is that she can pick simple pieces of clothing and accessories and BOOM she instantly has an outfit that is to die for. 

Whether dressing up or down she just oozes pure chicness. Not to also mention but the girl is a stunner! She's got a flawless complexion with legs that could go on for days! To also tie everything together she has the cutest hairstyles. 

Her outfit choices have also inspired me to try and explore new styles that fashion has to offer. Like Katz shoes, from first look I wouldn't even take a second glance as they aren't really my "thing" but seeing them on Eleanor I just want to buy 100 pairs!  

 

Eleanor's staple pieces have made me want to splurge my money, but being a student thats not really that easy. So I guess the list for "I wish i had these things" just expands and elongates. For now I'm stuck looking for alternatives on the high street to her amazing pieces that would help give an oomph to my style. 

This effortless Brit chic has totally got an A++ in my style books!

REUNITED

Don't you just feel instantly ecstatic when you get reunited with friends you haven't seen in ages? Also to add shopping is never a bad idea. 

Being on summer holidays everyone is just so busy with new jobs, family and relationships, you may feel like you don't see enough of those who you used to spend at least a good 7-8 hours with. In sixth form I was literally glued to these ladies 24/7. From teenage drama to eye watering laughs these ladies were always there. 

With the summer being so hectic we haven't really been able to catch up and it feels summer is literally slipping away. The best way to fix that ?  A catch up session, which most definitely has to include a little shopping therapy plus food is always a good idea. However, my iced latte from Costa was totally pants. Being a loyal Starbucks drinker I will definitely stick to them from now on (sorry to Costa lovers out there).
